William "Bill" Hooper, age 56 of Cartersville passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 9 at 2PM from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Gunter officiating. Mr. Hooper will be cremated following  the service. Visitation will be Thursday, August 8 from 5PM-9PM at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, Ga. Mr. Hooper is survived by his Wife, Catherine Hooper of Cartersville; Son Michael (Myra) Bennett of Cartersville; Daughters, Mellissa Hooper of Hiram, Schree Johnson of Paulding Co., Sherry (Shane) Walker of Acworth, Crystal (Robert) White of Rydal, also surviving are 17 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
