Obituary
William Jackson Hunt age 79 of Jasper, GA passed away early Friday morning May 17, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30PM Tuesday May 21, 2024, from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:30am until the funeral hour. The interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery with Army honors.
Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife, Deborah Hunt of Jasper, Georgia; son, Adam Hunt of Ellijay, Georgia; sisters, Patsy Neese of Canton, Georgia, Virginia Dale Reed of Lynn Haven, Florida, Kathy (Clyde) Abercrombie of Jasper, Georgia, and Deborah McCranie of Amherst, Virginia; brothers Jimmy Hunt of Jasper, Georgia, Danny (Janie) Hunt of Jasper, Georgia and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a contribution to a charity of your choice in Mr. Hunt's memory.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hunt family.
