William (Bill) M. Moxley, 90, went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2024. Born in St. Louis, MO. on January 17, 1934, he attended Southwest High School and graduated from Washington University with BSBA and MBA degrees. After college he served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Moxley had several successful careers, beginning with Sr. V.P. of Finance with Montgomery Ward, Chairman and CEO of Citi Corp. Diners Club International, Chairman and CEO of Prime Financial and President of Intec Systems, a subsidiary of Alexander Proudfoot Consulting. Several other positions followed into retirement.

Mr. Moxley is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elisabeth (Betty), two daughters, Kimberly Allen (Terry) of Cumming, GA., Dawn Skupin (Tim) of Round Rock, TX., four grandchildren, Josh Allen of New Port Richie, FL., Noah Allen of Cumming, GA., Allie Skupin of Sante Fe, NM , Anna Skupin of Searcy AR and two great grandchildren Aria Allen and Liam Allen of Cumming, GA.

Known for being a physical fitness nut, even after multiple orthopedic surgeries, he continued to work out, play tennis and pickleball. Football season had him cheering on his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Visitation will be at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 5-7 PM, with funeral service at Generations Church on Bluffs Pkwy. at 1pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024, with Pastor Jeremy Issacs officiating.
