Winnie L. Turner, age 101 of Canton, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Canton Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 2PM in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Padgett and Rev. Johnny Padgett officiating. Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 12:00PM-06:00PM at Darby Funeral Home. Survivors are daughters, Tommie Grant of Canton, Peggy McGee of Alpharetta and Mary Evans of Canton; sister, Ruth Barrett of Marietta; 12 grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, 31 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Great Grandchildren also survive. Predeceased in death by husband Egbert Turner, Sons, Larry E. Turner and Bobby Turner, daughter, Jackie Nell Myers, Grandsons, Mark Grant and Jobe Morris. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Turner family.
