It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yeah Cordle, who died on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Northside Hospital Cherokee at the age of 79.
Yeah was born in Taiwan on February 4, 1946, to her loving parents, Chang Fo Huang and Chi Yun Wang. She grew up in Taiwan, cherishing her family and her heritage. She eventually met and married the love of her life, Harry Cordle, an American soldier, and together they made a wonderful life in the United States.
Throughout her life, Yeah was known for her warmth, her quiet strength, and the way she made people feel seen. She had a gentle spirit and a caring heart, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to family and friends alike. Her kindness, patience, and faith guided her approach to life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and devotion.
She is survived by her son, Randolph "Randy" Cordle (Cherry) of Atlanta, Georgia; her daughter, Ellen Angel Cordle (Donald Wiest) of Smyrna, Georgia; and her beloved grandchildren, Chaz Cordle, Kitty Coats, and Cash Coats. She also leaves behind five siblings residing in Taiwan.
A time of visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Darby Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery.
May her memory be a blessing. Rest in peace, Yeah — you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
