Like most folk, I was in a daze between grief and befuddlement when I went to Darby's Funeral Home to deal with services when my wife died. She and I have lived in the Canton area for more than forty years. We knew that the Funeral Home we would use for each other would be Darby's. Mr. and Mrs. Darby have provided care and comfort to many families we have known. I am very glad that this was my first time to use their professional services. The understanding and kindness expressed by the entire staff lifted a burden from my family. Guidance and emotional support could be their hallmark. I know my immediate and extended family holds Darby's in the highest regard.

We want to thank Earl Darby and staff for the excellent way they helped us following the death of our brother. From the time they came to the house to transport his body until the final committal service, they demonstrated caring, dignity and professionalism. They went the extra mile. God Bless you all.

"This experience was made so much easier by the good people at Darby. I was so touched by the "In Their Honor Transport" ceremony. Hospice employees and patients stood to honor my husband and the tribute by "In Their Honor". My husband would have been so gratified to receive such an honor. I'm grateful Darby suggested it. I was especially anxious about writing the obituary. I had given my husband's biography to Todd Sanders and in a short while he had written a beautiful obituary that required very little change. I had no idea he would do that but I was so thankful. Mr. Darby suggested the Patriot Guard Riders as accompaniment for the transfer of remains to the Georgia National Cemetery. I have heard so much about them and I knew it would be a peaceful ceremony. Again,my husband would be so honored."

"My wife and I recently visited Georgia, specifically the Canton and Marietta area. During our visit to Canton, we stopped at Darby Funeral Home in order for my wife to see where my brother's funeral service was held in 2017. My wife was unable to attend the funeral. While there, a very nice lady was very willing and helpful, showing us the facility. She remembered my brother's funeral and even recalled his middle name. I was amazed and very impressed with her recall. Then, she offered to check with your videographer to see if a copy of the service was still available and if so, she said she would send us a copy. I am very pleased to say she followed through (no surprise) and we received the DVD a few days ago. My wife and I watched it and it was wonderful for her to see and hear the ceremony recorded there in your chapel. Thank you for locating and sending the DVD. It will be treasured and shared with the family that was unable to attend. Clearly, you have a very caring staff. Great job."
